Choosing a College

A decade ago, the Canadian College of Osteopathy was the sole institute for studying Osteopathy in English speaking Canada. Now the inquiring student has a variety of choices for pursuing an osteopathic education in Ontario. Before deciding on a shorter program, consider that the Canadian College of Osteopathy is dedicated to providing a complete education in Osteopathy, including osteopathic philosophy, theory, methodology, technique, clinical application and research.

The cornerstones of the Canadian College of Osteopathy are:

•  Tradition

•  Palpation

•  Research

•  Clinical Methodology

The College prides itself on its commitment to blend the time-honoured ability to transmit the art of osteopathic palpation from one Osteopath to the next, with the science of the interrelationships in the human body in illness and in health. The College strongly feels that this process should not be offered in haste—CCO students also benefit from the interval between courses which allows the integration of each component of Traditional Osteopathy into the regular practice and the life of each of its students.

The internationally renowned Canadian College of Osteopathy offers: the benefits of having a network of more than fifty qualified instructors across Canada; a faculty dedicated to the success of each student; a learning centre and first-rate osteopathic bookstore; a world-class continuing education system; a permanent facility and a full-time administration staff available on a regular basis. The CCO provides a trusted place in which to enrol, learn, and graduate into a career of Traditional Osteopathy.

We look forward to answering any of your questions.
