There are regional variations in programs between Toronto and Montreal. In addition, beginning with 2004 academic year, the CCO will be incorporating an enhanced program, which will include 11 additional days of instruction and clinical supervision.

Included in the new program will be:

  • An expanded presentation of osteopathic history and philosophy.
  • A one day course on computers in Osteopathy which aims help the student achieve the appropriate computer skills to take full advantage of the program offered by the CCO.
  • Information on ethical issues.
  • Embryology as it relates to Osteopathy.
  • A new class in visceral normalization as it applies to infants and children.
  • A three day Clinical Consolidation workshop at the end of the five year program to help better integrate the material studied.
